Please note that these are not your standard Double Second pattern; at least not entirely. These are Synchronized Double Seconds. With this version (M), the note patterns on the two sides of the instrument are mirror images of each other. With the other version (T), the two sides are twin images of each other. How are these different from your standard double seconds? The answer is geometry.
With Synchronized Seconds the note placement is set to reflect geometric symmetry. The advantage, in our opinion, is being able to more easily recognize and anticipate movement patterns with technical exercises; and playing in general.
