Mystic Temple Palo Santo Incense is a careful blend of fragrant sacred woods. Your hand-rolled masala sticks are a blend of pure palo santo wood powder with a touch of incense resin that offers a slight citrusy note, when burned hinting inclusion of frankincense resin in the formula. Masala is a Sanskrit word meaning “spice mixture”, culinary curry dishes and Ayurveda.  Your masala incense was made by blending a variety of dozens of solid ingredients, including wood powders, aromatic herbs, and resins, kneading it into a dough-like paste, which was then skillfully rolled onto bamboo core sticks with charcoal powder added to aid in burning. Your masala has been sun dried and hardened, releasing its fragrance when the combination is burned. Your blend is enclosed in a zip bag featuring a gold-foil embossed Lotus Mandala temple design - Mystic Temple's classic red label package.

Each package contains 15 grams - 8" sticks (as shown). Mystic Temple Incenses are sold by weight, not by stick count, however Om Shanti sticks are very thin, so you'll receive a generous amount of incense with your package.
