Masala is a Sanskrit word meaning “spice mixture”, culinary curry dishes and Ayurveda. Your masala incense was made by blending a variety of dozens of solid ingredients, including wood powders, aromatic herbs, and resins, kneading it into a dough-like paste, which was then skillfully rolled onto bamboo core sticks with charcoal powder added to aid in burning. Your masala has been sun dried and hardened, releasing its fragrance when the combination is burned. Your blend is enclosed in a zip bag featuring a gold-foil embossed Lotus Mandala temple design - Mystic Temple's class red label.
