Every afternoon and throughout the summertime, the Quitman County Arts and Culture Center welcomes young dreamers into a world shaped by color, rhythm, and movement. Our After School & Arts Summer Camp stands out as both a haven and a launchpad, blending Quitman County after-school arts camps with an immersive summer arts camp in Marks MS that guides children into new realms of expression. Guided by experienced local artists and educators, students build confidence as they create in visual arts, pick up instruments in music sessions, and move freely through dance. Each child can discover hidden gifts with programs uniquely designed for the community - from visual arts and music summer program sessions to interactive summer arts activities for kids in Quitman County. The joy of these programs comes to life when campers showcase their creations: at the yearly public arts crawl and music jamboree in the Mississippi Delta, every paintbrush stroke and note finds its audience. Families gather as the Center transforms into a colorful stage; student art exhibition and music showcase events radiate energy and pride through Quitman County.
