Deep Sea Wine, founded in 2018, began with a group of passionate friends who love both diving and fine wine. In our first year, we proudly produced 12,000 bottles, each inspired by our underwater adventures.
We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming space for our customers to enjoy, featuring live music, food trucks, and an atmosphere perfect for families and pets.
We love interacting with our visitors and invite them to take part in the winemaking process, guiding them from the vineyard to the bottle, making it a hands-on experience.

Our Deep Sea Crew is a group of passionate divers turned wine lovers, blending their underwater exploration experiences with a dedication to crafting fine wines. With every bottle, we aim to bring a touch of the deep sea to your table, capturing the spirit of our adventures.
Whether beneath the waves or creating the perfect blend, our crew is committed to producing wines as bold and unforgettable as their underwater journeys.
Ben Thompson
With years of diving experience and a background in marine biology, Ben transitioned to viticulture in New Zealand. He now manages Deep Sea Wine’s vineyards, focusing on sustainability.
Emma Stevens
Emma, a seasoned diver, discovered her passion for winemaking during a dive in France. After apprenticing in Napa Valley, she founded Deep Sea Wine to combine her love for the ocean and winemaking.
Olivia Carter
Olivia’s career as a marine conservationist led her to winemaking after a dive trip to Argentina’s wine regions. She now offers tastings at Deep Sea Wine, blending conservation with winemaking.
Jake Matthews
A former competitive scuba diver, Jake turned to winemaking after retiring from diving. He trained in Spain and California and now manages day-to-day operations at Deep Sea Wine.
Lily Green
Lily, a diver turned marketer, helped build Deep Sea Wine with her passion for both the sea and wine. Her marketing expertise has been key to the winery’s growth.
Max Foster
Max’s diving expertise led him to deep-sea wrecks, but winemaking captivated him. After studying enology in France, Max now brings a scientific approach to Deep Sea Wine’s production.
Isla Bennett
Isla, an underwater photographer and diver, fell in love with winemaking after visiting vineyards in Italy. She now creates memorable experiences for guests at Deep Sea Wine.
Ryan Brooks
Ryan’s career as a deep-sea diver led him to explore the ocean’s mysteries, but it was the aging process of wine that piqued his interest. He now oversees Deep Sea Wine’s cellar.
