We enhance the hospice Continuous Health Care benefit experience by providing skilled and compassionate clinical and para-professional staff who are trained as end-of-life Doulas for people who are actively dying with a prognosis of 7 days or less. No One Dies Alone. 🤝 𝗪𝗲 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵: 👥 𝗗𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 We match families with expert, certified end-of-life doulas who provide: → Non-medical, emotional, cultural, and spiritual support → Stress management tools for caregivers → A calm, steady presence during the final phase of life 📋 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘀 Each doula follows a personalized, non-clinical care plan tailored to: → The cultural, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients with a 7-day-or-less prognosis → The practical and emotional needs of the family 🏥 𝗛𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 We partner with a licensed hospice agency offering Continuous Health Care (CHC)—an intensive, round-the-clock service covered by hospice insurance, including: → 24/7 nursing care → Home health aide support 📝 𝗦𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝟮-𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 → Complete the Admission Form → Receive a Covered Benefit Analysis 👩‍⚕️ 𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗪𝗲 𝗔𝗿𝗲 At Serenity Doulas, we believe everyone deserves compassionate presence at the end of life. Lead Founder Yvonne Secreto, RN, has worked as a hospice nurse, liaison, and supervisor since 2010, shaping her insight into the gaps in care—and how to fill them. 💬 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 A 2013 Office of Inspector General (OIG) report revealed that 953 hospice programs lacked CHC services. In response, 10 new quality indicators were introduced—and the service we provide is #1 on that list.
